Doll clothes

I like that clothes of my russian dolls and roly-poly toys to be representations of real fabric. Many times I look for inspiration before to start to draw, in book: "Русские узорные ткани" (Printed russian fabrics 17th - 20th century).

The roly-poly toy

A roly-poly toy is a game for babies. it has a counterweight in the hemispherical base, this is why when you hit it, it always returns to its starting position. In addition of the sensory effect caused by its smooth movement, there is a music produced by a bell inside.
This child represents the russian winter.
